Happy Birthday, Tater!!!

My youngest son,Tater is turning 3 today! Happy Birthday little man! The tears want to flow because my baby is growing up.

Teacher's gifts

I made these felt flower brooches for the kid's teachers. They went to Mad Man's 4th grade teacher, Stinky's 1st grade teacher plus her 2 Daisy leaders and for Tater's All By Myself teachers. They received good reviews, I'm happy about that. I figured it was nice to give something pretty and handmade.

True Love

My husband makes my heart melt :) I needed gas and was going to stop before I had to drop the kids off for school. Around 6:45 this morning, my lovely husband drove up with a gas can and put gas in my car. It's freezing and snowy out, I was amazed. His love comes through in the most unlikely places, but I'll take it. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter guy! Thanks, Jim

Sewing with Frankie

This is what I have to put up with when I sew! It's hard enough sewing straight, but with Frankie helping me, well you get the idea :)

This is my second try at making an owl. The first one is now living with my mom, and this one went on it's way to California. I'm actually going to make myself one, because I make things for my friends and family all the time then I'm too busy to make one for me.

Enjoying nature

We are lucky to have a beautiful state park, Caledonia, about 3 miles from our house. We visit weekly to take walks and explore. The kids love it. We stopped at one of the creeks that run through the park this time.

Her booty!

Stinky got a dollar this time, she told us she is RICH! How lovely to be so innocent about money.

Stinky lost her first tooth Sunday and her second today!

She lost the first one and we thought she'd lose the other in a few days. But it came out today!!! They were right next to one another. I've never seen two do that. She received 5 bucks last night and can't wait for more moola tomorrow.

Pickle turns 17 today!!

I can't believe my first son is 17!!! He has started shaving, wow! It's a bittersweet day, I'm glad he's growing up but sad that he'll soon be leaving the nest. Happy Birthday, Pickle.....Mom loves ya!

The Cats

Frankie has grown leaps and bounds, he's Mr. lean and lanky.
Mikey has grown too, he's put on a pound or two. Just call him pleasantly plump!

Stinky and Tater were playing pretend cupcake decorating. I thought I put the lids on super tight. Lo and behold, I missed one. What a mess! They had a blast though!
